One local quirk shapes the Jeddah timetable: midday prayer does not land at 12:00. Jeddah lies well west inside its Riyadh time zone. So the sun peaks about 31 minutes after clock noon. Dhuhr follows the sun, not the clock — today it falls at 12:27 PM. Across the year, the fast here runs from about 14h 54m near June down to 12h 11m in December.

The Fajr and Isha angles for Jeddah come from Umm al-Qura University, Makkah. The Umm al-Qura method sets Fajr when the sun is 18.5° below the horizon, and Isha 90 minutes after Maghrib.
