Every time on this page is worked out from Bordj Bou Arreridj's own coordinates (36.07°N, 4.76°E), not a national average. One local quirk shapes the Bordj Bou Arreridj timetable: midday prayer does not land at 12:00. Bordj Bou Arreridj lies well west inside its Algiers time zone. So the sun peaks about 49 minutes after clock noon. Dhuhr follows the sun, not the clock — today it falls at 12:26 PM. Across the year, the fast here runs from about 16h 27m near June down to 11h 14m in December.

The Fajr and Isha angles for Bordj Bou Arreridj come from the Muslim World League. The Muslim World League method sets Fajr when the sun is 18° below the horizon, and Isha at 17°. Use ISNA's 15° instead and Fajr here would move by several minutes. So the method — not the coordinates alone — settles the final time. We also publish times for nearby El Achir, M'Sila and Aïn Oulmene. Each is only a few minutes off Bordj Bou Arreridj's clock.
